On the weekend I was picking up some gear at MEC with Black Bean when we heard someone say, "excuse me sir, are you the Brent Giant?" When I looked down I saw him...he had a pile of gear around his feet and his hand was extended up. He said, "I'm the Mystery Angler, Alex!"
We soon learned that Alex has had experience hunting Great White sharks off the coast of Africa and wants to try his hand at a far more challenging species...Splake! He'll have lots to add to the fire side conversation me thinks.

I can arrange to get the splake to wear frikkin' lasers on their heads to increase the challenge a bit.
Oh, and apologies to Alex - although the Mystery Angler introduced himself with his real name, neither the Giant nor the Bean had the presence of mind to do the same.
I have often tried to get the sharks to wear frikkin lasers...I now have many fewer friends to swap stories with lol, and no worries giant or bean, I have heard the stories of such lengendary characters and tis all i need ;) mystery/alex
Since "Shark Bait" has been honing his skills battling the Great Whites; for this competition I want him in my boat!!!!!!!
