Giant Help

Here's a tip to help out my competition for the Ultimate Splake Hunter Championship:

In the Spring look for brook trout and Splake near points and shoreline shallows. Troll near shore with spinners tipped with worms. Cast or troll with dark-colored nymphs or Wooly Buggers.

Mr. Brent Giant;
I heard you are a living legend and that you signed the ceiling at the Portage Store at Cedar Lake. Anglers at fireside chats talk of a Algonquin Giant who has a hand carved 2 meter paddle. They say you once accidently put out a camp fire by just coughing. Thanks for the fishing tips!

The signing of the ceiling at the Cedar Lake store is true. If you notice the ceiling is made up of wall panels salvaged from old Ranger stations in the Park. There are many names from trekkers on these panels...I am the only one to sign a panel in its current location.

I have since mastered my cough.

Take care Young Angler.
